Fairchild Dornier has named Klaus Peter senior vice president and chief information officer (cio) for the corporation. He will be based in Oberpfaffenhofen. As cio, he will be responsible for the overall strategic information technology direction of the corporation, including the internet and email. He comes to Fairchild from Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug, and has also held a number of IT and engineering posts at Daimler-Benz Aerospace. He has a degree in computer science from the University of Karlsruhe.
