Earlier this year, Jetclub added a Citation Bravo to its fleet of corporate aircraft. EBAN spoke to Murray Law at the company's Farnborough office about the privately-owned aircraft. Law said: "It is the owner's first aircraft and fits his requirements perfectly. It's an excellent aircraft to operate. Painless.

"When the owner is not using it, which is only for a limited amount of time, the aircraft goes out to charter."Law explained that the people most likely to use the Bravo for local European charter are owners of larger aircraft, particularly if their own aircraft are already out for charter with other Jetclub clients.

By and large, said Law, the owner is very flexible and will "try his best to work around our bookings for the aeroplane".The Bravo is configured for a maximum of seven passengers, although four or five is said to be a more comfortable number. Law said: "We have carried seven but I wouldn't recommend it."

Across the Jetclub fleet, there are three GIVs, of which two are privately owned and not available for charter. The company also has a Zurich-based Challenger 601-3R which can be found on the charter menu. "In addition," said Law, "we have a Falcon 900 which is just going on to the Swiss register. That will be available for charter imminently."

In addition to Farnborough and Zurich offices, Jetclub has an affiliation with an operator in the US, a sales and marketing office in Palma, Majorca and also a marketing agent in Monaco.
