TAG Aviation has recently opened a new charter sales office in the UK. Charter sales manager Mark Bryant said: "TAG Aviation has major development plans for Farnborough Airport and it is logical that we develop the charter sales side of our business to compliment the company's overall investment in the UK.

"We view the British market as a major opportunity and intend to build a significant presence here."

TAG Aviation currently has a BAe125-800 based at Farnborough, which is available for charter. The company also has plans to base a large cabin Falcon 2000 there in the near future.

Bryant added: "Most users will agree that there is a gap in the market for a Falcon 2000 type aircraft in the London area." He predicts that the team at Farnborough will continue to grow in order to maintain service levels as the UK client base develops.

A recent addition to the staff at Farnborough is Neil Gibson, who brings considerable experience to the team having served in the RAF and worked on both the operations and brokerage side of the business.

TAG Aviation's European fleet is made up of a variety of aircraft; from the small cabin Citation II / Learjet 31 and 35, Learjet 45 and midsize Falcon 20 through to the large cabin Falcon 2000, long-range Falcon 900 and Canadair SE (Regional Jet).
