Dassault and Gulfstream plump for Teledyne data acquisition
Teledyne Controls has received a $500,000 order from Dassault Aviation to supply Mini-Flight Data Acquisition Unit (MFDAU) systems on four models of the Falcon aircraft series, including the 50EX, 2000, 900EX and 900C. Delivery is scheduled to begin November 2000. Additionally, Gulfstream Aerospace has placed an approximate $4 million order for the MFDAU systems for its GIV-SP and GV aircraft. A company spokesman said: "Teledyne Controls' MFDAU processes mandatory data acquisition, as required by the current European JAR OPS and FAA regulations.
