Elite has announced the upcoming release of the GenView scenery add-on to CD-ROMs, set for the end of July this year.

The add-on will incorporate ground collision detection, visual reference features, integrated weather module with different cloud types and visibility manipulations, runway environ-ment with lighting and taxiways and realtime METAR download possibility direct, via the internet.

Elite has been creating PC-based IFR simulators for 10 years, and claims to be the most chosen provider of these services at flight schools and universities worldwide. Other products offered include the Trimble 2000 Approach Plus GPS Navigator, KFC 150 Autopilot and Flight Director, KAS 297B Altitude/Vertical Speed Selector and KNI 415 Radar Altimeter.
