Six Alan Cobham fuel systems are providing 'self-service' emergency helicopter refuelling for the RAF/RN search and rescue service based in the Highlands of Scotland. The units were supplied and installed by Cobham for use at strategic remote locations. They have both mains and diesel driven pumps to ensure that they can continue to operate in power cuts and temperatures of -30°C.
