The first production model of the New Piper Malibu Meridian completed its premier test flight towards certification at the end of June. Deliveries are expected to begin later this summer, the culmination of a three and a half year development project and the first all-new aircraft to come from New Piper since it was established in 1995.Eagerly awaiting the completion of Meridian serial number 003 is its owner, Mr Richard Dumais of Richardson, Texas. To date there are 102 retail orders and 137 wholesale orders for the business aircraft, with 34 scheduled to be completed by year-end.
