Turkish government to bring first EC145s into service
Two EC145s will be brought into service by the Turkish government before the end of this year.

Two EC145s will be brought into service by the Turkish government before the end of this year. The Turkish State Airport Administration (DHMI) says: "The aircraft are the first of their kind to be delivered to the Turkish government and they are equipped for airport security missions and corporate transport needs."

The DHMI, a subsidiary of the Turkish ministry of transport, adds: "The EC145 is able to carry one or two pilots and up to nine passengers. With a fast cruise speed of 135 kts and an endurance of up to 3.5 hours, it is well equipped for SAR, emergency medical services and police and homeland security missions."
