Bombardier expands operations and workforce in Northern Ireland
Bombardier is to expand operations and create 1,200 new jobs in Northern Ireland. The company says it is significantly raising aircraft production as well as expanding its Northern Ireland manufacturing operations. Its Belfast-based workforce is expected to grow by 20 per cent over the next two years.

Said executive vp operations, Ken Brundle: "This is an important day for Bombardier and Northern Ireland. The expansion of our operations, and the new jobs that come with it will have a positive effect on the UK economy and particularly Northern Ireland. Our supplier network across the rest of the UK and Europe will also benefit from the opportunity to increase their business with us."
