Bombardier Aerospace, the Northern Ireland manufacturer, is in the running for MX2000, an award from the Institute of Mechanical Engineers for manufacturing excellence. Michael Ryan, vp and general manager, said: "Investment in people, plant, business processes and innovative products have been the key to our growth and success, and we hope to continue this in the future." The awards ceremony will be held at London's Café Royal in June.
