Metro's hangar extension complete
Metro Business Aviation says the new extension to its hangar at London Stansted has been completed on time, following considerable planning and scheduling to ensure that customers were not disrupted. The hangar can now accommodate an A319 or BBJ aircraft and says Metro, was specifically designed to meet the needs of Metro customers and the tendency towards larger and wide bodied aircraft.

Metro Business Aviation says the new extension to its hangar at London Stansted has been completed on time, following considerable planning and scheduling to ensure that customers were not disrupted.\rThe hangar can now accommodate an A319 or BBJ aircraft and says Metro, was specifically designed to meet the needs of Metro customers and the tendency towards larger and wide bodied aircraft.\rThe hangar floor is 35,000 square feet and new stores and office facilities are included within the refurbishment. Said Mick Adams, engineering general manager: "With this amount of space we have been able to handle more maintenance work for our regular and ad hoc customers."
