Last month, EBAN reported that Ducair had been created 12 years ago by chairman and ceo René Closter, as a foundation for Luxembourg Air Rescue. Contrary to this statement, the Foundation Luxembourg Air Rescue was founded 12 years ago and Closter created Ducair just last year to optimise fleet utilisation. Closter said: "70 per cent of all flights are medical flights by Luxembourg Air Rescue, whereas the other 30 per cent of the flight capacity can be used for charter flights to finance our humanitarian objectives."
