Tony Hinder of PrivatAir has asked us to clarify certain comments attributed to him in the Swiss regional review in last month's EBAN concerning the company's new Air Park at Geneva Airport. For many years PrivatAir has been using Jet Aviation as its handling agent in Geneva and elsewhere and is very satisfied with its services. However, the maximum number of passengers Geneva airport authorities will allow through Jet's present terminal is 20. For larger fleets (the PrivatAir fleet includes a 44-seat Boeing 737-300 and a 51-seat Boeing 757-200) passengers must now use the main airport terminal, where vip facilities are not usually available. The new Air Park building, scheduled for completion towards the end of next year, will feature a vip lounge, Swiss and French customs and immigration services and will be able to accommodate all PrivatAir flights, whatever the number of passengers.
