Dedicated avionics show to take place in Toulouse
The first International Avionics Exhibition, which claims to be Europe's only dedicated avionics show, is to be held September 12-14, 2000 in Toulouse. The show is intended to cater for the fixed-wing, rotary and UAV sectors and will cover both commercial and military technology. Facilities for technical workshops and presentations by exhibitors will be available.

The first International Avionics Exhibition, which claims to be Europe's only dedicated avionics show, is to be held September 12-14, 2000 in Toulouse. The show is intended to cater for the fixed-wing, rotary and UAV sectors and will cover both commercial and military technology. Facilities for technical workshops and presentations by exhibitors will be available. According to Spearhead Exhibitions, organisers of the event, exhibitors attending will include air traffic control, airlines, charter operators, satellite manufacturers, aircraft and helicopter manufacturers, FBOs, regulatory bodies and training organisations. \r"Toulouse is perceived as being the capital of high technologies in Europe. It is the European leader in aeronautics and the second centre for both the electronics and space industry in the world," claimed Tony Stephenson of Spearhead. "Over the last decade, we have seen rapid changes in the whole spectrum of avionics with many transitions. Our new show will be a celebration of, and a showcase for, these exciting developments."
