Fairchild Aerospace Corporation proudly unveiled a full-scale cabin mock-up of its Envoy 7 long-range jet at NBAA in Atlanta and announced it has received 28 orders for the aircraft, with first deliveries likely in early 2002. Fairchild says the interior configuration is flexible, with areas for a conference room, a seating area and a state room large enough to accommodate a Queen-sized bed. Other features include a full-service galley, a large baggage space, a lavatory and stand-up shower in the state room. The Envoy 7 can accommodate up to 18 passengers for long-range travel of up to 4,150 nautical miles. Fairchild says that the aircraft offers the largest cabin space in its price range.
