MD Helicopters Inc has announced the sale of two MD600Ns through its newly appointed single engine distributor in the UK, Eastern Atlantic Helicopters. Two more MD600Ns are being held on option, according to sources at Eastern Atlantic.\rThe first helicopter was sold to Paul Bundy, chairman of Metafin Group Holdings in Walsall, for "business and pleasure." "I had an Enstrom 480 for six weeks. There was nothing wrong with it, but I wanted to better myself," Bundy told EBAN. "I saw the 600 and it was gorgeous. I thought, well..."\rMr Bundy also revealed some less conventional reasoning for his choice of aircraft: "I picked the tailess design because I've got a big Pyrenean mountain dog at home, he's about 13 stone. If he got caught up in the tail rotor, my wife would kill me!"
