The executive committee of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) of the United Kingdom has appointed Geoffrey Boot as the association's vice chairman. He succeeds Jack Wells, who retired from the post last year but who still remains involved in AOPA affairs. Boot is a member of the AOPA Flying Instructor Committee and is a current PPL examiner.
