The Farnborough International air show and the Royal International Air Tattoo are coming together to organise two weeks of aviation next year. The Tattoo will be held July 19-23, 2000 and Farnborough International will follow from July 24-30. The joint show will be called 'A Flying Start to the Millennium' and the organisers believe that the joint event will prove appealing to visitors who would attend both shows, such as overseas government delegations.
