Following 20 years at the BOC group, CK Chow, chief executive of GKN plc, has been elected as president of the Society of British Aerospace Companies (SBAC). "Aerospace is a sector in which the UK is acknowledged as a global leader. It is the role of the SBAC to support the industry to maintain that position of advantage. We will do so if we are truly international and objective in our thinking while losing no opportunity to remind the UK of the power and contribution of its aerospace industry," he said.
