CAA safety record
The UK CAA is celebrating another accident-free year for jet transport and the lowest ever number of risk-bearing airprox incidents attributable to air traffic controllers. Despite a seven per cent increase in air traffic during 1998, there were six risk-bearing airprox incidents attributable to NATS controllers, compared to 11 in 1997, 16 in 1996 and 12 in 1995.
