Raytheon Aircraft has delivered its first Jaguar Special Edition Beech Baron 58 to Dr Wendell Row, a medical expert residing in Eureka, California. The aircraft marks the result of a collaboration between Raytheon and Jaguar Cars, and shares many of the cars luxurious features. The exterior is painted in green and gold and features the Jaguar leaping cat symbol.\rSeat tailoring, a cherry executive writing table and horizontal trim panels feature in the interior. A special process brings interior wood to a high gloss and, in the cockpit, the dual-control yokes are covered in hand-stitched leather to achieve the look of Jaguar steering wheels. A growling big cat image is even embroidered on the bespoke headrest covers and carved into the cashmere carpet to reinforce Jaguar's presence. Raytheon and Jaguar began the co-marketing venture in 1998 with the King Air C90B programme. The companies have extended the limited edition run of the King Air C90B and expanded the programme to include Beech Baron 58 and the single engine Beech Bonanza A36 and B36TC.\rIn addition to Jaguar styling, the 1999 Bonanzas and Barons feature Allied Signal's Bendix/King Silver Crown Plus avionics suite and special edition engines.
