CSE Engineering has launched a new portable power unit, the ATP StartStick. Described by CSE as having the power of ten car batteries, the 3lb hand-held device utilises the latest thin metal film technology. It has been developed for use as a starting aid for piston engined craft. The StartStick has a NATO (Cessna type) connector, and is available in 12 and 24 volt models. Prices range from UK£213 to £702.
