French air taxi company Air Bretagne has branched out with two new scheduled services in the last five months. In May, it started a new flight from St-Brieuc to Jersey twice-daily. From September 13, a new twice-daily service from Nantes to Jersey was introduced.\rAir Bretagne operates a fleet of three Beech 100s, two Beech 200s and one Beech 1900D. "For the Nantes/ St Brieuc to Jersey flights, we operate Beech 100s and 200s because 11 seats are adequate for this autumn and winter. In March or April we hope to operate a 1900D," said a spokesman for the company. "We are studying the purchase of another Beech 100 and two more Beech 1900Ds for our air taxi business." \rAir Bretagne reports that most of the clients for the new flights are French businessmen. They are said to book with Air Bretagne in order to avoid Paris Orly airport. \rAt present, it is not possible to fly directly from St-Brieuc to London without the Jersey stop. However, sources in the company report that negotiations are underway with British Airways to create all-inclusive tickets from St Brieuc or Nantes to Jersey (with Air Bretagne) and connection from Jersey to London (with British Airways).
