Duncan Aviation completes full interior and exterior refurbishment on CL350 in Provo, Utah

Duncan Aviation is proud to announce the completion of a striking refurbishment project on a Bombardier Challenger 350 at its full-service facility in Provo, Utah. The project included a full strip and repaint of the aircraft's exterior as well as a complete interior refresh.

The aircraft's owner envisioned an exterior design that would serve as a true statement piece. Drawing initial inspiration from his Falcon, the scheme was adapted and refined for the CL350 to highlight the sleek lines of the airframe.

The exterior features a luminous white pearl base that flows seamlessly across the fuselage, emphasising speed and elegance. Heavier, darker elements on the tail create balance and visual weight, while carefully placed striping draws the eye along the length of the aircraft. The engines feature a swooping design that begins low on the nacelles and carries the viewer's gaze upward toward the tail. At the owner's request, both the top and bottom of the wings showcase crisp white-and-blue stripes that further enhance the bold look.

“This exterior is the opposite of ordinary,” said Duncan Aviation senior lead designer Molly Pfeiffer. “The colours and flow of the scheme fit beautifully on the body of the aircraft, giving it a fast, showpiece quality that reflects the owner's vision.”

Inside the aircraft, Duncan Aviation's design team delivered a full interior refurbishment, preserving only the existing woodwork. The rest of the cabin was reimagined with a clean, modern aesthetic that balances light and dark elements.

The redesigned seats feature a two-tone leather combination with contrasting black French stitching and perforated inserts for a contemporary feel. Darker leather accents were incorporated on the armrests and headrest sides for both durability and visual balance. The divan showcases a single-tone leather design with subtle black contrast stitching, tying the scheme together.

A standout feature is the custom carpet, which was meticulously tested and approved by the owner before being tip-sheared to reveal its full pattern along the entire length of the cabin. The modern black-and-white palette, paired with sleek detailing, transformed the cabin from its previous beige and brown tones into a lighter, more sophisticated space.

“The client wanted a cabin that felt current and refined,” Pfeiffer said. “The two-tone seating, custom stitching and unique carpet design achieved exactly that, creating an interior that is visually striking while maintaining a clean, cohesive look.”

This project showcases the full range of services available at Duncan Aviation's main MRO facilities, where highly skilled teams provide comprehensive exterior and interior refurbishment capabilities alongside maintenance and avionics services.
