Eurojet, part of the Avolus Group, have announced a new addition to their fleet, a 2007 Cessna Citation XLS aircraft. The aircraft, which was introduced to the existing fleet that includes a Challenger 604, a Citation Excel and a Citation Encore, required an investment worth Euro 9.6 million and is to be followed by further acquisitions.
The company hosted a VIP event at the private terminal of Bucharest Banaesa airport to celebrate the addition. The exclusive cocktail was co-sponsored by Cessna and Eurocopter who showcased their aircraft – Cessna Citation XLS+ and Eurocopter EC145, alongside the Eurojet fleet, to the 150 HNWI guests in attendance.
The Citation XLS meets the highest of its passengers' expectations not only in terms of comfort, but also efficiency as a business tool and ability to reach remote destinations. The aircraft is equipped with a VIP leather 7 seated-configuration, full EU operational compliancy, 1,858 nautical mile range, flat screen television with sky map and DVD facilities, data port and power outlets for laptop usage.
Eurojet plans to add a second Challenger 604 to join the Eurojet fleet by the end of 2010. Eurojet has made investments for fleet and business development up to the value of Euro 10 million. The mid- term strategy for the company is to build a fleet of 8 aircrafts by 2013, to meet all clients' demands. The current Challenger 604 in the Eurojet fleet is newly refurbished with full interior upgrade in 2009 and has a 10 VIP seated-configuration.
"Our target for 2010 is to increase revenues by 30%. To drive this growth, we are upgrading our fleet starting with the new XLS. We are also negotiating to take another Challenger 604 into operating lease by the end of the summer. In addition, we have exciting plans to upgrade our in-flight customer experience with gourmet catering and luxury on-board goods available shortly", says Alexis Grabar, Avolus Group CEO and Eurojet General Manager.
