Press Release
Issued by Lundin Software.
July 21, 2010
The GANNET Aircraft Maintenance Information Software, developed by Lundin Software, has been chosen by Aerogulf Services to manage their maintenance. The agreement marks another important step in GANNETs emergence in the aircraft maintenance software market.
Aerogulf Services Co. L.L.C is based at the International Airport of Dubai and has been in operation since 1976 providing helicopter support to the Dubai's oil & gas industry and aerial work for a variety of other industries throughout the Middle East. With a fleet of 7 Bell 212 & 2 Bell 206 helicopters, Aerogulf has built a reputation for safety and reliability. Aerogulf's services range from offshore support, charters, heavy lifting, seismic, aerial work and adventure tours.
Early on in Aerogulfs search for a new system, the GANNET emerged as a very strong candidate. The system offers an innovative way of handling information and especially its customisability and intuitive nature make it a very powerful tool. As the current economic climate dictates, costs are considered more carefully, and one of GANNETs major advantages is the total implementation cost.
Both Aerogulf and Lundin Software consider there to be a very good fit between the companies and have high hopes for the new co-operation and expect a successful partnership for the future.
Lundin Software has extensive experience in developing maintenance information systems and has in addition to GANNET also developed OPUS for industrial maintenance. In addition to maintenance information systems, Lundin Software develops software solutions using the latest Microsoft technologies and has a very strong team of well educated and experienced software developers.
