CNC Technologies partners with Airbus Helicopters and Metro Aviation to offer Broward County Sheriff's Office the most advanced public safety helicopters in the market

CNC Technologies, a Californian aviation technology and wireless communications company serving the law enforcement, military and government markets, announced today a collaboration with Airbus Helicopters and Metro Aviation to provide the Broward County Sheriff's Office (BSO) in Florida with three fully missionised aircraft for fire rescue and public safety operations.

CNC's partnership with Airbus and Metro Aviation continues to set the bar in the industry by leveraging the strengths of each company. Airbus provides the aircraft, Metro Aviation in Shreveport, Lousiana, provides integration and completion services, and CNC provides full mission suite design, state-of-the-art equipment, service and support, as well as on-going customer training.

The BSO Department of Fire Rescue has purchased two Airbus H145s for air medical, search and rescue and law enforcement missions. The Sheriff's Office has also purchased one additional Airbus H125 helicopter that will integrate seamlessly into the current fleet of two H125s performing law enforcement missions for the agency. The fleet of three Airbus H125s will transmit imagery and data through the CNC.Live access portal for all agency commanders to view in real time. CNC.Live provides agencies with real-time access to view their video assets, improving their ability to coordinate joint responses during major incidents. In addition to the aircraft purchases, additional investment was made by BSO to expand its high-resolution video and data transmission network to maximise the aircraft efficiencies. Once deployed, all BSO aircraft will be managed under CNC's service, support and training programme with 24/7/365 coverage.

“We are proud to be the total solutions provider for the Broward County Sheriff's Office,” said Ed Van Winkle, vice president of law enforcement sales and OEM projects at CNC Technologies. “We work with many Florida law enforcement agencies, and we are honoured to again be chosen by BSO to support its wide variety of public safety missions.”

CNC Technologies has active projects with nine state and county agencies across the State of Florida. The new BSO aircraft and infrastructure projects will create more seamless communication and data sharing between the state's agencies and improve public safety response to significant incidents.
