ARGUS accepts IOSA Registration to meet ARGUS Rating Requirements

ARGUS International (ARGUS) has accepted the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) to meet the audit requirements for the ARGUS rating system. ARGUS is the only organization in the world that can provide an operator with not only an IOSA audit but also an ARGUS Platinum Audit. Utilizing this combination audit, ARGUS is proud to recognize DC Aviation, Germany's market leader in business aviation, as the first charter operator to receive a Platinum Rating after achieving IOSA Registration.

The IOSA, which comes from the commercial airline industry, is the most highly regarded international evaluation of an airline's processes, policies and procedures. Similar to the ARGUS platinum audit, the IOSA assesses the operational management and control of an airline with a focus on safety management. Because of these high standards, ARGUS now accepts a successful IOSA registration as satisfying the audit requirement of an ARGUS Gold Plus Rating. For the coveted Platinum rating, audits must be conducted exclusively by ARGUS PROS auditors. The Platinum rating is ARGUS' highest level of safety ratings, and is awarded only to those air charter operators who have demonstrated successful implementation of industry best safety practices relative to their operations and maintenance.

"We are very proud not only to achieve IOSA registration but to also to be recognized with an ARGUS Platinum rating," says Steffen Fries, CEO of DC Aviation. "I congratulate and thank everyone at DC Aviation for their constant dedication to safety."

ARGUS PROS, a division of ARGUS International, is the only audit organization that has developed its own industry-leading audit standard for charter operators and also holds authorizations from two world-recognized standards organizations. ARGUS PROS is authorized by both the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) to perform audits utilizing their respective standards, IOSA and the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO). Based on auditor and instructor credentials, IATA has named ARGUS PROS one of only five Endorsed Training Organizations accredited to provide IOSA Auditor training.

"Operators around the globe understand the importance and value of maintaining a safe and efficient operation," said Joe Moeggenberg, President and CEO of ARGUS. "We found the IOSA standard to emulate the high standards of the ARGUS Platinum audit therefore, I am proud to offer operators additional value with our combination IOSA and ARGUS audit."
