“The National Air Transportation Association applauds President Biden's announcement nominating TSA Administrator David Pekoske for a second term. NATA appreciates Administrator Pekoske's tireless efforts to improve transportation security across all modes, and we look forward to future collaboration,” stated NATA president and CEO Timothy Obitts. “When confirmed, Administrator Pekoske will continue to make a difference in advancing our national airspace system's security through prioritising workforce recruitment and retention, including leveraging diversity and inclusion to develop a culture that embraces creativity and forward-thinking to mitigate risks and respond to threats. Administrator Pekoske embodies the 'together we are better' principle that NATA stands behind.”
