The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) has thanked senator James Inhofe for his decades of public service and his steadfast support of the general aviation industry, following the senator's announcement he will retire in January 2023. An avid aviator, Senator Inhofe has been a stalwart champion for general aviation in the U.S. Congress since he won his seat in 1986, first in the House of Representatives and for the past 28 years in Senate.
