Avflight Corporation has announced that the ground has officially been broken for its hangar and office complex at Willow Run Airport (KYIP).

The development, adjacent to Avflight's FBO on the east side of the airfield, includes a 41,745 square foot complex with two hangars totalling 30,000 square feet, more than 7,000 square feet of premier office space and an indoor parking garage. The complex will be able to house corporate jets of any size.

Avflight expects the project, spearheaded by architect Bowers+Associates and contractor Oliver/Hatcher Construction and Development, to be complete by mid-August 2021. Preleasing for hangar and office space is now available.

Our goal is to be their premier gateway with exceptional, accommodating facilities and best-in-class FBO services.”

Looking further into the future, Avflight plans to use the additional land at the construction site to build another 30,000 square feet of hangar space similar to those under construction.
