New King Air joins ORTAC's fleet for commercial charter

Channel Island based corporate jet operations business ORTAC (AOC) Ltd is delighted to announce that, in addition to its existing fleet of four business jets, it is now managing a brand-new King Air 250, which is available for general charter across the UK and Europe.

The King Air 250 offers six seats, in a comfortable, roomy cabin and has an expansive hold, suitable for carrying larger amounts of luggage, including golf clubs or other sporting equipment. Its high performance, twin-prop capability means that, as well as offering flights to the usual larger airport locations, the King Air is also able to land in smaller, provincial airfields. Providing this greater choice of landing options has the additional benefit for passengers that they can fly to a point closer to their end destination and reduce their total travel time.

ORTAC's accountable manager, Lee McConnell, says: “The King Air is probably the most popular business turboprop on the market, and we are extremely excited to now be able to offer this beautiful and versatile aircraft for charter, in addition to our existing fleet of four business jets.

“Its efficient fuel burns, even on short hops, and capacity to land in smaller, less expensive airfields, make it an extremely cost-effective solution for travelling around the UK and Europe.”

After less than a year of being awarded its Air Operator Certificate for Iinternational charter by 2-REG, the Director of Civil Aviation of the Bailiwick of Guernsey, ORTAC is extremely proud to be managing a fleet of five aircraft in total. In addition to the King Air, ORTAC also operates four business jets, comprising a brand-new Phenom 300, to be available on its Air Operator Certificate for charter imminently, and three Cessna Citations, namely a Latitude a CJ3+ and an M2.
