NATA remembers aviation business pioneer and patriarch William “Bill” R. Cutter

The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) has joined William “Bill” R. Cutter's countless friends and colleagues in honouring his devotion and lifelong contributions to the aviation business community.

“Bill Cutter will be remembered as a successful industry pioneer and affectionately as a patriarch in the aviation business community. He and his company developed a higher standard in aircraft sales, service and support for Beechcraft aircraft sales and many other OEMs. As a long-time champion and mentor within the industry, Bill received NATA’s highest honour, the William A. “Bill” Ong Memorial Award, in 1996,” stated NATA president Gary Dempsey. “His son Will and the exceptional team at Cutter will continue the family’s legacy of providing exemplary service, following the principles of respect, trust and integrity that have been instilled from the company’s first day of service in 1928. The Cutters joined NATA in 1950 and have remained active members for nearly 70 years.”
