Sheltair and Avfuel head to MEBAA to foster global connections

Sheltair and Avfuel are partnering up once again at the Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA) Show to represent their award- winning brands to international operators in stand 685.

Sheltair staff will be on hand to represent its network of 18 modern FBOs throughout Florida, Georgia, New York and Colorado.

“We're particularly enthused to speak to operators about our New York locations and the addition of our 18th FBO in Denver, Colorado,” said Karen Kroeppel, Sheltair's director of sales and marketing. “In particular, our JFK location often serves as the main gateway for international operators. From there, we welcome them throughout the Sheltair network and are pleased to add Colorado's bustling business epicentre to that list.”

Since securing its location at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (KBJC), Sheltair's development team has been busy finalizsng the plans for the FBO's new state-of-the-art terminal, hangar facility and fuel farm. Construction on the facility is to begin early spring 2019 and be completed by spring 2020.

In the meantime, international traffic can enjoy Sheltair's award-winning treatment at 17 other locations, including customs ease at its New York (JFK) location, which features: the ability to clear customs on the ramp 24 hours a day with prior notification, streamlined operations, support for diplomatic logistics and missions, onsite security screening and planeside duty free. In addition to JFK, Sheltair also serves New York travelers at FOK, FRG, ISP and LGA.

As a member of the Avfuel Network, guests to any of Sheltair's locations enjoy lucrative rewards through AVTRIP and payment ease with the Avfuel Pro Card.

“The Avfuel Pro Card offers so much more than less-than-retail rates on fuel,” said Marci Ammerman, Avfuel's vice president of marketing. “It's a complete aviation-purchasing solution.”

With the Avfuel Pro Card, operators gain access to streamlined transactions at more than 3,000 global locations, zero fees on any purchase, including non-fuel items that don't require a fuel purchase to be transacted, and the ability to put everything on one invoice. This helps operators save both time and money at the front counter. This is in addition to easy online account management and further tax-savings benefits.

Operators who wish to learn more about Avfuel's aviation solutions, including AVTRIP, the Avfuel Pro Card, and its network of over 650 branded FBOs and more than 3,000 fueling locations, along with Sheltair's network and expansive services, are encouraged to visit stand 685 while at the show.
