FlightSafety International to offer King Air 350 training in Teterboro

FlightSafety International has announced that it will offer training for the King Air 350 aircraft at its Learning Center in Teterboro, New Jersey.

The programme will feature an interchangeable King Air 350 simulator that is equipped with the Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion and Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 integrated avionics systems. The simulator will also be equipped with FlightSafety's VITAL 1100 Visual System and electric motion and control loading technology.

“We are pleased to expand our King Air 350 training programme with an interchangeable simulator that offers Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion and Pro Line 21 avionics,” said Steve Gross, senior vice president, commercial. “Our customers will appreciate the added flexibility this programme provides.”

Installation of the simulator is underway. Training is scheduled to start in April, 2019 following FAA Level D qualification. The simulator is expected to be qualified by Transport Canada and the National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil later in 2019.

Training for King Air aircraft is currently available from FlightSafety using 12 full flight simulators at Learning Centers in Atlanta, Georgia; LaGuardia airport in New York; Long Beach, California; Wichita, Kansas; and at Farnborough airport in the United Kingdom.

The Teterboro Learning Center offers a wide variety of pilot training programmes for aircraft manufactured by Dassault Falcon Jet. They include the Falcon 50EX, Falcon 2000, Falcon 2000EX EASy, Falcon 900EX, and Falcon 900EX EASy. The Center also offers a new state-of-the-art facility for flight crew emergency training. It includes a pool for sea survival training, a full scale dunker, a hoist used to simulate being rescued from water by a helicopter, and a full scale cabin trainer equipped with a visual system for emergency and cabin service courses.
