Air Culinaire Worldwide announced today the launch of its Lifestyle menu concept for its 19 owned-and-operated in-flight catering kitchens in the United States. This new menu concept has been available at its three European locations and focuses on the client's approach to dining through their culinary lifestyle and mood.
“The Lifestyle menu is an innovative approach in the aviation catering space. We're introducing nutraceuticals, superfoods and today's top trends into our in-flight signature dish selections for our clients,” said Steven Roberts, senior vice president, global operations. “We're featuring the dishes that our world-class chefs have designed specifically for in-flight dining that will redefine the standards of in-flight cuisine.”
The Lifestyle menu format is focused on five major lifestyles: Adventurous, Clean, Fueled, Influential and Innovative. These lifestyles are influenced by the unique cultures and culinary trends found throughout the 50 states. Each item on the menu draws inspiration from trends and flavours in a specific location in the United States. The menus include selections for a variety of dietary styles, including gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan.
The menu features an exclusive partnership with Petrossian Caviar, with a full menu of caviar options and luxury gift baskets, including an Ultimate Caviar Collection, as well as aperitif, signature chocolates, cookies and cupcakes.
“While food involves all five senses, mood also plays a large role in the food choices we make. We are focused approaching our clients' dining needs based a variety of unique moods and lifestyles, through these new menus,” said Paul Schweitzer, senior vice president, global sales and marketing.
