CTT Systems AB, the market leader of aircraft humidity control systems, has announced an Cair VIP inflight humidification system order from Fokker Techniek BV for one Airbus ACJ319neo. Installation will take place during a green aircraft outfitting project performed by Fokker Techniek BV. The system installation will feature increased humidity in the entire aircraft cabin, which requires support from two humidifiers. This award is CTT Systems' 91th order for Airbus ACJ and Boeing BBJ VIP aircraft.
“We are honoured to be awarded another A319 VIP system installation by Fokker,” says Peter Landquist, vice president sales and marketing of CTT Systems. “This is our first award for an ACJ319neo VIP aircraft.”
“This will be the third ACJ319 completion with the CTT humidification system,” said Maurice Burghouwt, account manager procurement of Fokker Techniek BV. “We feel confident in the system's reliability and performance and we trust it will contribute to the wellbeing boost that our client seeks.”
CTT's humidifier maintains air humidity in the human comfort zone of approx. 20 percent relative humidity. A higher humidity on long-haul flights reduces dry air related problems, such as fatigue, jet-lag, red eyes, dry skin and the spread of virual diseases, and improves wellbeing and sleep. The humidifier is based on evaporative cooling technology and uses a method that effectively precludes the transfer of bacteria. The Cair VIP IFH system offers total anti-condensation protection.
