August 22, 2018
Presidential Aviation, a leading aircraft charter, management, aircraft sales and maintenance company based at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) in south Florida, recently added a Hawker 800XP to its managed fleet of aircraft. Presidential Aviation will also offer the aircraft for charter flights. The H800XP has a range of 2,470 nautical miles with a speed of over 449 miles per hour. The aircraft will be based at KPNE airport, in northeastern Philadelphia, strategically located to cater to the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York markets. This jet has only 2,700 total hours of flight time, making it one of the lowest flight-time Hawkers available for charter.
The Hawker 800XP aircraft is painted in Matterhorn white with colorful metallic flip-flop stripes, and offers seating for eight passengers. The aircraft was outfitted with beige leather chairs in double-club seating, and offers pull-out dining tables for four forward passengers. The jet also houses a fifth, aft leather CEO chair equipped with a pull-out dining table, along with a three-person aft divan with its own, larger pop-up dining table. The H800XP's CEO chair is fully equipped with two 110V outlets for phone and iPad charging.
The mid-sized jet was completed with birds-eye maple wood bulkheads, featuring forward and aft Airshow 400 screens for passenger entertainment, along with a CD and DVD player, and domestic GoGo WIFI. The aircraft was designed with pull-down window shades, gold-trimmed reading lights, and an aft private lavatory equipped with a leather seat, gold sink and an outlet charging station. The luxury jet was also built with a forward refreshment cabinet offering multiple drawers, an ice chest for water and soda, an electronic coffee pot, and a hot-water tea maker. The Hawker offers guests a forward interior baggage closet for soft luggage and an aft closet for crew storage.
The Hawker's avionics display and computer system is comprised of a Collins Pro Line 21, four-screen Electronic Flight Information System (EFIS), with Dual Collins FMC-6000 Flight Management Computers, and Collins FGC-3000 Flight Guidance Computers for auto navigation. The aircraft offers Dual Collins Air Data Computers (ADC-82), and Dual GPS. For safety, the aircraft is equipped with a Collins TCAS 4000 Traffic Alert Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) and a Honeywell Mark V Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS), along with Collins TWR-850 Weather Radar, and a Dual Collins TDR-94D Mode S Transponder for communicating aircraft positioning and altitude.
