LSKY offered in January an event to show it's customers and friends the excellence of the LSKY Business Aviation "cuisine", providing a tasting of the several meals available in the menu created by Chef Stephan Gallou. The guests had the opportunity to experience delicious menus for breakfast, soups, salads, sandwiches, starters, shellfish, meat, fish, desserts, cheeses and fruits, Japanese cuisine and children plates. LSKY gourmet meals are prepared with fresh and selected high quality products. LSKY follows the most demanding food safety regulations, under LSKY in house French Chef Stephan Gallou supervision, and permanent control of it's in house Quality auditor. The procedures in place guarantee the HACCP compliance. LSKY, besides being certified by the Ministry of Agriculture, Civil Aviation Authorities and National Airports Authorities, is also a ISO 9001:2000 certified company, by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance. Ricardo Jorge Institute also assures laboratorial control of all products stored in LSKY.
Stephane Gallou is the most recent addition to LSKY's family, having been appointed has Executive Chef in January 2007.
Chef Stéphane Gallou, whose favourite activity in the childwood was to observe his mother and grandmother cooking, began his career at the age of 14, occupying the school summer vacations collecting vegetables and fresh fruits in the countryside, as green beans, tomatoes, peaches, plums and grapes, nearby his aunt's house, and helping in the preparation of the meals. More and more attracted by the art of cooking, Chef Gallou got his graduation in the french school "Jean Drouant". He worked in several five stars restaurants and hotels, in Paris, Luxembourg and more recently in Lisbon. Stéphane Gallou complemented his graduation with several other courses, including Delicatessen, Team Administration and, in the recognized Accor Academy, courses of New Culinary Technologies, Kitchen Organization, Vacuous and HACCP. In Portugal since 1999, the recognized Chef Gallou comments: "I love the Portuguese cuisine, it is very natural and lives much of fresh products", and added: "my kitchen also has strong mediterranic, Asian and French tendencies."
