Press Release
Issued by Nextant Aerospace.
May 28, 2018
Nextant Aerospace, builders of the 400XTi and G90XT remanufactured aircraft and Challenger 604XT upgrade, announced today it held its first European demonstration of the 604XT ProLine Fusion equipped aircraft. The private showing at a 604 fleet operator facility in Nuremberg, Germany, was held on Saturday May 26, 2018 on the way to EBACE. The aircraft has completed several U.S. based demonstrations and multiple flight segments. Steady flight test regiment plans will continue for the remainder of the summer/fall as the company anticipates STC approval later this year.
Since introducing the 604XT ProLine Fusion program at EBACE last summer, the success and progress of the program has far exceeded Nextant's expectations, so much so, that all the 2018 and Q1 2019 slots for 604XT ProLine Fusion installation are sold. The company is already accepting deposits for Q2 2019. “The interest is unprecedented”, stated Mark O' Donnell, Nextant Aerospace executive vice president. “Based on the outstanding advancements of our development team, the interest in the marketplace, and the performance of the aircraft, we are very optimistic that the pending STC approval will be authorized by Q4 2018.”
“ProLine Fusion is a no-brainer for meeting the 2020 ADS-B and FANS 1/A requirements,” said O'Donnell. “We have sold all available slots this year with the expectation of completing seven installations by year end. Our target for 2019 is an additional 30 installations. With the impending obsolescence of the ProLine 4 displays coupled with the mandates, the demand for the remaining 2019 installation slots is very strong. Aircraft owners who see ProLine Fusion as the right option for their operation, are strongly encouraged to reserve their slot before the 2019 schedule fills up.”
