Aéropyrénées reinvests in two new Alsim ALX and AL250 devices

Alsim is pleased to announce the sale of an ALX (multi engine piston, light turboprop, medium turboprop and medium jet) and an AL250 to Aéropyrénées, a flight school located in Perpignan, South of France. The flight school already owns an Alsim device, the AL200 MCC, which has been operated since 2006.

The ALX replaces the Perpignan-based AL200 MCC, which achieved maximum profitability for the school, while the AL250 will be located in Toussus-le-Noble, near Paris. The Toussus-le-Noble site opened in 2012 and grew very quickly to finally triple its surface. The number of students following the integrated training program increased from 15 to 52 in one year, thanks to a large investment in communication. Thirty new places will be offered there in September 2018, with integrated training available in French or in English.

Benjamin Vanlierde, Aéropyrénées' communication and marketing manager, explains why they chose Alsim's ALX and AL250: “We were very satisfied with the quality of the simulator we had been using until now, and with the maintenance service offered by Alsim. After comparing several manufacturers, we naturally came back to Alsim to expand our simulator fleet, but also to maintain a certain uniformity of our training tools. Furthermore, the ALX allows us to train MCC/JOC: we are able to offer a comprehensive package to our students, and thus answer their needs.”
