On October 4th., 2017, Vietnam Helicopter Corporation and Northern Vietnam Helicopter Company signed purchase agreements for the supply of two Bell 505 helicopters with Bell Helicopter Asia (Pte) Ltd. This event marked a milestone in the helicopter service industry in Vietnam in particular and in Vietnam tourism in general.

Bell 505 is a light, single engine helicopter, four seats, produced by Bell Helicopter, a Textron Company, with latest and most advanced technology and configuration suitable for tourism and general services. These two Bell 505 are planned to be delivered in late 2018 and officially put into operation for sightseeing in Ha Long Bay in early 2019.
