DC Aviation Group continues to grow its managed fleet with the addition of a new Dassault Falcon 7X aircraft. Dubai-based DC Aviation Al-Futtaim (DCAF) will operate the new aircraft on behalf of the private owner.
The management contract will see DCAF provide full flight operational aircraft management services, continuous airworthiness management organization (CAMO), hangar parking, and FBO handling at its facility at Al Maktoum International Airport, in addition to providing maintenance services for the Falcon 7X aircraft.
Holger Ostheimer, managing director, DC Aviation Al-Futtaim said: “Our facility and services continue to attract interest from owners and operators seeking our expertise to manage their assets under both commercial and private operation. We are extremely pleased to add the Falcon 7X to our managed fleet and look forward to providing its VIP owner with the highest levels of comfort and convenience, which are the cornerstones of our business.”
DCAF is a joint venture between Al-Futtaim and Germany's DC Aviation. Its core areas of business include: aircraft management, maintenance, FBO and ground handling and business jet charter.
Earlier this year, DCAF broke ground on a major expansion of its facility at Dubai South, which will see it add an additional 6,800 sqm hangar bringing its total land-side plot area to 24,000 sqm and the apron area to 13,000 sqm.
The existing DCAF hangar measures 5,700 sqm and can easily accommodate multiple ACJ or BBJ type aircraft, ultra-long range business jets such as the Falcon 7X, Global Express or Gulfstream G650. Located in a prime position just off the airport's runway, the DCAF hangar and 7,700 sqm dedicated ramp parking enables 24-7 support, maintenance services and operation of private and businesses jets of all sizes.
