Avfuel and Air BP team up to expand global networks

Avfuel Corporation and Air BP have signed an agreement that mutually increases their general aviation (GA) footprint across the globe with new airport fuel supply locations for each of their respective contract fuel customers.

Avfuel Contract Fuel bolsters its international presence with the addition of 89 new locations from within the Air BP network, expanding its own network of more than 3,000 global fueling locations and further supporting fuel purchases for Avfuel customers. Pilots and flight departments will enjoy the benefits of Avfuel Contract Fuel at each of these locations for a more efficient travel experience with a competitive product.

Supporting Air BP's presence in North America, the company's Sterling Card customers are now able to purchase fuel at more than 20 new locations in the top 100 U.S. busiest GA airports via the Avfuel Contract Fuel program, with more sites expected to be added in early 2017. Established throughout the globe with more than 800 locations across 50 countries, the addition of these strategic locations helps broaden access for Air BP Sterling Card holders within the United States. As such, international traffic heading into popular U.S. destinations now have more familiar fueling options with a company they trust.

“This agreement is beneficial for our Avfuel Contract Fuel customers, granting them access to more locations in Europe and around the world for pricing and fuel services,” said Joel Hirst, Avfuel vice president of sales east. “This is in addition to the mutual benefit for Air BP customers who will be accepted at more than 20 Avfuel Contract Fuel locations to start. It's a reciprocal fuel authorization agreement that allows both Avfuel and Air BP to take advantage of the other's footprint in the industry, expanding both networks in the U.S. and abroad.”

Norbert Kamp, chief commercial officer, Air BP said: “Air BP is thrilled about the new arrangement with Avfuel. We are focused on increasing the number of locations our customers can access in North America, which is the largest GA market in the world. Relationships like this really add value to our existing global network. We also look forward to welcoming Avfuel customers at our international locations.”

This symbiotic relationship benefits both companies looking to strengthen their presence worldwide. But more importantly, the new deal benefits both Avfuel-loyal customers and Air BP customers, keeping them fueling within their preferred, trusted networks by working collaboratively across networks.
