Constant Aviation receives European approval for Phenom 300

Constant Aviation, offering full-service maintenance, repair, and overhaul throughout its U.S. network, has announced that it has received European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approval for the Phenom 300 Wi-Fi supplemental type certificate (STC) installation on European registered aircraft.

“Stateside we are the leader in the Phenom Wi-Fi system, having completed over 50 Phenom STC installs. We are excited for the opportunity to expand our avionics product offerings to the European market as well, further extending our state-of-the-art solutions for Phenom operators. This STC approves the installation of Swiftbroadband Aviator 200 and Gogo Wi-Fi systems on the Phenom 300 for faster and more reliable in-flight connectivity,” said Derek Morris, avionics design and engineering manager.

“In addition to EASA, we hold this STC in ANAC (Brazil), TCCA (Canada) and with the FAA, allowing us to expand our international capabilities and footprint by offering first class service to the world- wide business aviation market. This STC can be installed at any of our facilities located in Cleveland, Birmingham and Las Vegas, all of which are Phenom 100/300 authorized service centers,” continued Morris.

Constant Aviation’s Wi-Fi STC’s include the Hawker 700A, 750, 800A/XP, 850XP, 900XP, 1000, 1000A, the Citation X, the Phenom 100 and 300, the Legacy 600 and 650, the EMB-135LR, the EMB- 135ER, the Gulfstream IV, the Beechjet 400A/XP, the Lear 45, the Global Express and the executive configured Boeing 737.
