Press Release
Issued by Fly 7 Executive Aviation.
April 5, 2016
In 2015 Hendell Aviation and Fly 7 entered into an exclusive joint venture in central Europe. In 2016 the two companies are expanding their scope by introducing the Pilatus PC12 legacy types (45 and 47) in their Operations Specification list in order to operate up to five additional aircraft.
“2015 was a real success. The introduction of this new capacity into our AOC will allow Fly 7 and many private owners to bring their PC-12 legacy aircraft to the charter market.” confirmed Mikael Lees, appointed as the future CEO of Hendell Aviation.
Additionally the companies will launch the first PC-12 with medevac capabilities in central Europe from Lausanne and Geneva during the spring of 2016 to fill a gap in the short leg medical evacuation air transportation offer. “Regional hospitals have confirmed their need to transport patients at a reasonable price when local helicopters and heavy jets are not the perfect solution” believes Yves Roch, CEO of Fly 7.
Mikael and Yves, are looking forward to entering into new partnerships in Europe with local representatives, among which is a strategic partnership with the newly founded Belgian company Yellow, based in Liège, to accelerate their growth in 2016. Both are convinced that creating a European network with local agents is the key to a strong development for their joint venture.
“We have so many ongoing projects and products in the pipeline such as allocating dedicated funds to the financing of Pilatus aircraft and an aerial work project with the addition of one PC12 to the fleet in March 2016.” says Yves and Mikael.
