Daher is displaying its TBM 900 at this week's FIDAE International Air & Space Fair, bringing the TBM very fast aircraft's most rapid-selling version to the Latin American market.

Responding to this region's needs for fast and efficient transportation, the TBM 900's attributes include its ability to operate from high-altitude airports and short airstrips for commercial service providers and owner/operators.

The TBM's designed-in versatility also makes the aircraft ideal in airborne solutions for government, military and other users on missions that include ISR (intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance), with the choice of a retractable turret platform or a plug-and-play mission pod, both linked to a cabin console that is easily installed and removed; and air ambulance, with the ability to accommodate a stretcher and incubator, assisted by a patient loading system. In Argentina, the Gendarmeria Nacional Argentina (GNA) is operating an air ambulance-configured TBM.

A total of 46 TBM 700/850/900 aircraft currently are operated in Latin America, of which seven are based in Chile. To serve the region's countries and territories, Daher has established two authorized TBM distributors, Aeroélica in Mexico, and Algar Aviation in Brazil; along with two TBM service centers: AeroVitro in Mexico, and Eagle Copters South America SA, based at Chicureo Airport in the greater Santiago metropolitan region of Chile.

Many operators of TBM family aircraft will be present on our booth at FIDAE, to share their experience.”
