February 17, 2016
ASL and JetNetherlands are proud to introduce a brand new Embraer Legacy 650 to their growing fleet.
This state-of-the-art aircraft arrived at the airport of Antwerp-Deurne on Saturday, February 13, 2016. The aircraft departed from Embraer's factory and headquarter in Sao Jose dos Campos (Brazil) the day before, and performed two refueling stops in Recife (Brazil) and Marrakech (Morocco) where the aircraft spent the night prior to its last delivery leg. This newest addition happens only a few weeks after the company took delivery of the first European registered Embraer Legacy 450, which is also to be the first aircraft of type to be offered for charter services in Europe.
This brand new Legacy 650 will be managed and operated on behalf of its undisclosed owner and will be offered for charter services in the upcoming weeks. This aircraft joins the heavy jet segment of the ASL-JetNetherlands group, along with the recently introduced Falcon 2000LXS and a Challenger 605 introduced in 2014.
The aircraft welcomes up to 13 passengers in three distinct cabin zones. The first section offers four seats in a club configuration, followed by a dining-meeting area with four seats in the second section, and the last section offers a three seat-divan and two more seats in club configuration.
The cabin also features a full wet galley with oven, microwave, Nespresso machine and fridge; as well as a fully enclosed toilet and vanity area in the back of the aircraft offering a direct access to the main baggage compartment. The aircraft is equipped with berthable seats, iPad/iPhone/iPod connectivity, a sat phone and with the superior Honeywell Ovation Select cabin management system.
It cruises at a maximum altitude of 41.000 ft and has a maximum range of 3.900 nautical miles (7.200 km).
