Woodgate Aviation is joining the Avfuel network operating out of its new, state-of-the-art hangar and office complex at Belfast International Airport. Ahead of its official opening, the hangar is already functioning at capacity, accommodating a variety of aircraft and carrying out maintenance work.

“Our hangar will allow us to welcome more customers and our partnership with Avfuel will help us to support their needs,” said David Shaw, general manager of Woodgate Aviation. “We're eager to handle the increase in traffic with exceptional service.”

The new, 33,000 square foot hangar is one of the most environmentally friendly, energy-efficient facilities of its kind in all of Europe, featuring the continent's longest hangar doors, which operate on hydraulics. From the custom flooring, to the advanced systems, everything about the new facility was developed to exude quality. The new hangar is complete with office and reception areas, totaling a two-million pound private investment that advances Belfast International Airport's wider vision of development.

As one of four FBOs located at EGAA, Woodgate Aviation not only offers the best hangar on the field, but the only hangar on the field, making it well positioned to handle all major aviation segments: charter, business aviation, private aviation, commercial and air ambulance; one of the FBO's biggest customers.

Guests flying into Woodgate can expect all of the amenities they desire along their trip, including Avfuel Contract Fuel, the AVTRIP loyalty program, passenger and pilot lounges, transportation services, a conference room, flight planning and weather services, internet access, discounts on accommodations, catering, quick turns, de-icing, and ground handling.
