Piper Aircraft will be in attendance at NBAA's Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition for the 2015 event at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. On static display will be the M600 mockup for Piper's top-of-the-line single-engine business aircraft and its G3000 avionics display.
"We are looking forward to showcasing the M600 at NBAA2015 this year because it is the ideal aircraft for the business demographic participating at the exhibition. Business aviation continues to increase, and we anticipate the increased numbers will be reflected at the Las Vegas event, " said Piper president and ceo Simon Caldecott.
"The Piper M600 is an elegant cabin-class business aircraft with exceptionally increased endurance. As a step-up aircraft in our M-Class, it is an economical plane to own and operate for those who need additional range. The number of Piper airplanes in operation has increased as business flight departments are making decisions to move to more economical Pipers from aircraft that are more expensive to acquire and maintain," Caldecott added.
Each year, NBAA draws the most committed business aircraft buyers. More than 26,000 aviation enthusiasts are expected to descend upon the Las Vegas Convention Center and neighboring Henderson Executive Airport, including current and prospective business aircraft owners, manufacturers, and customers. NBAA2015 will feature more than 1,100 exhibits, display more than 100 business aircraft, and offer numerous aviation education sessions.
The M600 is Piper's newest cabin class, six-place aircraft, powered by a Pratt & Whitney PT6A-42A 600shp engine. With a planned performance maximum cruise speed of 260 ktas / 482 km/h, maximum range of 1,200 nm / 2,408 km, maximum payload of 1200 lbs. and an expected Vmo 250 ktas, the M600 is unparalleled in its class in performance, efficiency, and value. The first single-engine turboprop to feature Garmin G3000 in the cockpit, the M600 is equipped with the most sophisticated avionics and safety features available. A touchscreen-controlled, all-glass flight deck offers the most comprehensive and technologically advanced package, listed at a competitive price for 2016 of $2.85 million.
